How Many Times Can Scrap Metals be Recycled?

The years 2020-2021 tackled a paradigm shift in the way business is conducted across the globe. With global power leaders under lockdown the world saw 15% reduction in nitrogen oxide (NOx) globally.

(https://climate.nasa.gov/news/3089/local-lockdowns-brought-fast-global-ozone-reductions-nasa-finds/) The importance of recycling industries and technologies have been especially highlighted during these times, as it is one of the crucial steps in realizing climate goals. Mining ores for virgin metal extraction not only uses a lot of resources, but also contributes to the emissions.

Though metal recycling, we are able to tackle predicament of using the already-depleting resources while contributing towards greener planet by reducing environmental hazards like habitat destruction, sinkhole formation, soil and groundwater pollution, surface water contamination, and hazardous by-products.

We know metals can be recycled, but how many times can they be recycled for further use? Let’s find out in this article. Metals can be recycled infinite times to be used according to your desirability without altering its chemical composition or its usability.

Metal scraps are broadly classified in two categories: ferrous and non-ferrous. As the name suggests, ferrous metals are combinations of iron and carbon. Non-ferrous metals include aluminium, copper, lead, zinc, and tin. Steel is one of the most recycled metals in the world – around 85% of the steel is recycled, aiding in circular economy efforts. (https://www.tatasteeleurope.com/sustainability/circular-economy#:~:text=A%20few%20facts%20about%20the,first%20useful%20life%2C%20is%20recycledSteel trader in UAE can attest to this fact as the country uses huge amounts of steel. (https://www.cohenusa.com/blog/everything-you-need-to-know-about-scrap-metal-recycling/)

Even though metals can be recycled over and over again, and they provide financial benefits along with environmental imperative, the current metal recycling rate stands at 34%. (https://www.thebalancesmb.com/an-introduction-to-metal-recycling-4057469). This figure is not acceptable. The challenge lies with respect how to recapture more scrap metal for recycling. Recycling companies in UAE must not only stress on spreading awareness about the positives of metal recycling, but it is also important to apply impetus on advancements and recycling technologies being made and inculcating them in all scales of recycling.

Recycling Robots

…how is it revolutionizing the scrap business?

Recycling robots have been accelerating the recycling process. But what are recycling robots? These are highly capable and multitasking systems that are deployed for waste processing and recycling in a host of industries. These robots can function 24/7, are fast, accurate, and capable of processing heavy load of waste materials.

Such robots have been instrumental in the recent times more than ever. For instance, when the world is coping with pandemic, it became a matter of concern for many involved in manual segregation to operate with scrap that could possibly infect them.

The recycling robot is our shot at preventing 12 billion metric tones of plastic ending up in landfills. https://www.nationalgeographic.com/science/article/plastic-produced-recycling-waste-ocean-trash-debris-environment#close. The advancements made in robotics harnesses artificial intelligence to sort trash. The cameras and high-tech systems are instrumental in detecting and picking up the desired scrap.

Recycling robots have been noticed to work twice as fast as humans. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/26/meet-the-robots-being-used-to-help-solve-americas-recycling-crisis.html. Not only plastic, but these robots can distinguish between type, texture, color, and material of the scrap. Bjorstaddalen has the first robotic sorting facility for C&D and C&I waste in Norway. The automated stations are provided by ZenRobotics. It can sort the construction and demolition materials using the colour coded cameras, laser sensors, and metal detectors equipped to make as many as 6000 picks per hour.

With an automated system that has higher rate of pick up and accuracy, recycling robots are also equipped to store the information of the materials picked and use it for quality control. This leads to better results in recycling, in fact it generates value.

For example, the recycling robot can be programmed to segregate metals from other scrap materials such as rubber, plastic, paper, etc. They can be further be programmed to segregate metal scraps according to their types, shapes, and forms.

Many metal recycling companies are turning to recycling robots for optimizing recycling efforts. In places like Dubai scrap yards and many other recycling companies in UAE where metal scrap is dealt in huge amounts, recycling robots could become indispensable part of the industry. Could it replace human workforce in the scrap metal industry completely? Only time will tell.

Are you really concerned about the Environment?

The concept of recycling is not just a matter of collecting waste to follow the best humanitarian environmental practices but it’s actually a mission to cater such an efficient economic system for all the manufacturing industries where recycler motivates people to collect it for sale to recycling operations by eliminating a potential source of pollution & reclaiming valuable materials.

If you look around metal recycling companies in UAE those are committed to helping the communities to keep their environment clean through innovative recycling programs.  It’s also depends where you live like UAE the fastest developing country in the world generating a very large amount of waste every year specially the organic waste ends up in municipal landfills every day.  Waste issues are handled through efficient recycling programs.

Citizens in every country can do many activities to work together and reduce waste but there is always a never ending list of what can and cannot be recycled. For example we can recycle plastic bottles, cans, paper, metals but the question is have you achieved recycled goals, probably haven’t.

Like, along with eatables a great amount of plates, spoons and glasses made of paper or plastic are wasted. A lot of tissue papers are found in bins which are almost unused. Many times people take food and don’t finish it, resulting into food wastage. All these waste materials must be recycled.

Have you ever thought what may happen if all the metal ores get depleted? Where are we going to build machines, manufacture tools and what will you drink your favorite soda from? Metals are an important part of our lives and are used for manufacturing umpteen things today. To save this from happening, what we need to practice is recycling.

To practice recycling is something that our planet needs. This process of tuning and putting things back into usage is an extremely healthy for the environment and is extremely beneficial economically. Dubai scrap yards actively and very positively involved in this practice. Therefore, it’s high time that these efforts are appreciated and valued and the number of people joining this cause increases. So, start separating your wastes and ensure that you do the needful on your part. After all, every attempt counts!

Scrap metals Dubai take care of your scrap metal wastes and recycle them into reusable metals.  Lucky Group’s recycling facilities strives continually to ensure that the metal trash is recycled efficiently.

We have explored many aspects of recycled metals in previous blogs. Today we will see where does recycled metal scrap goes next.  Recycled metal has plethora of uses – it is never wasted. Scrap metals like copper, iron, aluminum, steel, and others are collected from Dubai scrap yards recycled at metal recycling companies in Dubai and reused in the following ways:

Industrial Use

Construction projects use huge volumes of iron and steel. They are also used extensively for building infrastructure like roads and bridges. In the transportation industry, steel is used in the manufacturing of vehicles, aircrafts, etc. Iron, especially cast-iron recycling holds a lot of potential as it is used for variety of structural and decorative purposes.

Packaging

Recycled scrap metals like steel and aluminum are commonly reused as new food packaging. Most canned goods use a significant percentage of recycled metal and many are made from 100% recycled scrap metals.

Recycled scrap metal can reappear on shelves as a new food or beverage container with a quick turnaround time of around 2 months. This process is extremely efficient and economical. Additionally, recycled aluminum requires less processing and as a result, also reduces emission of greenhouse gases than new aluminum. This makes the production of packaging using recycled metal both eco-friendlier and more cost-effective as compared to creating cans using new aluminum.

Home Furnishings

If we take a good look around our house, we will stumble upon many instances wherein recycled metal has been put to use. Furnishings, fixtures, and lighting make use of recycled metal components. Metal roofing these days sometimes are made completely out of recycled metals.

Various artists have got creative and used the scrap metal to create modern artwork and décor material. It has been instrumental in inspiring people in reusing and recycling rather than replacing the decor with new items.

Copper is an important component in a common household. Recycled copper is used in structure of a household, plumbing materials, cable, and heat exchanges. It is also used in air conditioning systems.

Right from industrial and manufacturing to household, recycled metal scrap is used in all shapes and forms. Dubai scrap trading provide you with endless possibilities and innovations that you can discover when you choose to recycle your scrap metal.

Lucky Recycling, part of Lucky Group is one of the largest recycling companies in the UAE. It aims to create a sustainable future for the planet and the coming generations with their conscious recycling efforts.

Single Stream Recycling

Since, 1973 the Lucky Group of Companies has been on the forefront when it comes to scrap metal trading as one of the leading recycling companies in the UAE.

The company’s innovative efforts to recycle scrap metals from landfills across the globe with their headquarters in Dubai, U.A.E. Most of us here in Dubai have probably heard of recycling, but single stream recycling? Well, it simply refers to putting all types of recyclable materials together and let a private company handle the segregating bit.

Research shows that recycling has worked better in towns and cities abroad like in the United States when single channel recycling was introduced. No longer did people have to take the trouble to segregate different types of recyclable items and separate the trash that they were trying to get rid off on a daily basis. It became a success because there was little effort required in segregating garbage from the recyclable items and that people would quickly adapt to it; whereas normally they would dump garbage altogether and avoid the original complex recycling process as a whole.

Single stream recycling can also save money because companies that handle such recyclable items pay for those items. The government thus, no longer needs to pay landfills to get rid of such garbage. How does this help the environment? Well, it simply speeds up the whole process because everyone at every level of the hierarchy is co-operating and when this happens, the right recyclable items get channeled onto the right path eventually reaching the manufacturers on time with environmentally sustainable in a cost effective way.

If an aluminum can reaches at scrap metals yard in Dubai on time, it prevents the need for manufacturers to purchase virgin materials to keep their production numbers up and running. In a similar way the quicker the different types of ferrous metal scrap lands up at Dubai scrap yards, the lesser will be the requirement for newer and rarer earth metals across different industries.

Single stream recycling not only encourages recycling, but clears up the bottlenecks in the recycling process.

What affects the value of Scrap Metals?

Anyone involved in metal recycling is aware of fluctuations in its value. In this blog, we want to shed light on some factors that may affect the value of scrap metals.

Production and Energy costs

The cost of energy and production has a significant effect on the price of scrap metal. These include cost incurred for gas, oil, and other sources of electricity. If the costs of processing are high, the price that is offered for scrap metal may drop to make up for the difference.

Supply and Demand

Just like any other commodity, the demand and supply make an evident.

Photo reference: Pexels copyright free image

Quality and Quantity

The value of scrap is highly dependent on the quality. Scrap metals covered in corrosion or insulation would not bring the value as much as clean, high quality scrap metal would do.
Imagine trading a pound of aluminum cans vs trading a truckload of aluminum scrap. Obviously, the truckload will fetch you more revenue. If the scrap buyers in Dubai get more scrap metal with lower overhead, including a lower number of transactions and transportation, they can offer a higher price.

Location

Most of the times, the scrap metal is not fully processed at the Dubai scrap yards. The scrap is transported for further processing. If the processing location is farther from the scrap yard, it will affect the overall costs, thereby reducing your profit margins. The buyers may also consider the transportation cost into the prices they offer for the scrap metal to protect their individual profits.

Price of Virgin Metal

Virgin metals are those metals that are newly mined and have not ever been used, recycled, or processed. If virgin metals are expensive owing to the energy and production costs, supply and demand; scrap metal becomes more valuable as an alternative. Similarly, if the virgin metal prices fall, scrap metal becomes less essential and industries can afford virgin metals.

International Commodity Trading

With countries getting more active in the industry, foreign market fluctuations influence the value of scrap metal. India and China, for example, deal with very large quantities of scrap metal imports. In case the economy slows down, scrap metal prices can take a hit as well. It is important to keep an eye on market trends to determine the right time to trade scrap metals to get the maximum value.

Lucky Group is the leading metal scrap buyer in Dubai and one of the largest recycling companies in the U.A.E. The company has spearheaded recycling initiatives to build a sustainable future for the planet. We guarantee the best value in market for the scrap metal.

Air quality & its link to Covid-19

For healthy homes & work environments, it is crucial   to improve its air quality especially where the whole world is in a health crisis due to COVID-19 and taking maximum precautions.

Improving wellness while staying at home or at work during this disruptive situation is the most relevant discussions everywhere. It is recommended by experts to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle specially who are sensitive to allergens or have a respiratory underlying issues to prevent COVID-19 infection. .

Experts advice that during this pandemics we must attempt to breathe fresh air or purify our domestic air quality. Cleaning your AC filters is one of the ways to improve indoor air quality which can help in avoiding serious illnesses.  You can, however, do certain cleaning and maintenance tasks yourself to ensure efficient operation.  If you don’t, then the air flow will be restricted, reducing efficiency and you will recirculate dust into your home or at work which will  affect your overall health system and may cause asthma or may cause  difficulty in breathing or similar respiratory issues.

Also, if you don’t do this maintenance before summer arrives, you may end up with higher amount of service charges to be paid.

Have we ever noticed why Air conditioners cost so much more to cool down a house or work place because the purpose of the air conditioner is to remove heat from the air and vent it outside? One of the components of an air conditioner that allows it to do this are the condenser coils in also known as radiators.

An air conditioner condenser coil is made up of copper tubes and aluminum fins which help in circulating cool air through those tubes freely and it is important that these condenser coils must be maintained and kept clean.

As a homeowner if you see your AC is not working and it is the time to replace with new then you should remove important components from your AC like condenser coils, compressor, wires, iron and others components which needs to be disposed-off at the dedicated recycling center.

Lucky Group has facilitated at their Dubai scrap yards for proper recycling of scrap metals such as air conditioners.

You may also approach metal scrap companies in Dubai for free disposal at their doorstep.

GOOD NEWS FOR BEGINNERS STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE OF SCRAP METALS RECYCLING

If you are student and want to have basic knowledge of scrap metals and it’s recycling then you don’t need to be a metallurgist, only you need to know the common metals which are used for re-purposing scrap metals into new products. Recycling companies in UAE, in collaboration with Scrap metals yards in Dubai, offers a wide range of technical and identification methods to segregate different types of metals fast.

But on the other hand scrap metals knowledge with little expertise may help you in getting additional pocket money and will also save your time if it has been properly segregated before delivering to Metal recycling companies in Dubai.

But the question is how it is possible?

Do you know in scrap who is your best friend?  A “magnet”. An important tool which helps you in distinguishing between ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Now before learning how we can use the magnet for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, it is very important to understand the difference between ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

What is a ferrous metal?

Steel and Iron both come under this category available in hangers, washing machines and other household items.

What is a non-ferrous metal?

Other than steel and iron most other metals are non-ferrous like very common metals such as aluminium and copper found in electrical wires and window frames.

How we can use the magnet to identify which metal is ferrous or non-ferrous?

  • If the magnet sticks, you have a ferrous metal.
  • If the magnet doesn’t stick, you have a nonferrous metal.

So, if you don’t have magnets buy a small one and attached with your keychain, so it may not be misplaced.

If you want to know the value of scrap metals collected in-house or at schools, Dubai scrap yards will decide how much they will pay you for whatever type of metal you bring.

Safety is our first priority, so if you handle scrap metals, handle with care by wearing protective gloves because most of the metals have sharp edges or other contamination which may affect your health and safety.

Contribution of recycling towards UN SDGs

Recycling and Waste Management

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, embraced by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for prosperity and growth for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are an urgent call for action by all countries - developed and developing making the world a global village. One of the prime purposes of the UN SDGs is recycling and waste management. In today’s era, there is a significant increase in waste due to certain consumption habits of human beings. This waste if not treated will get accumulated and pose a serious threat to humanity. To curb this threat, an important step would be recycling. Recycling is an integrated effort to convert the waste into reusable material which would be the backbone to the sustainable development goals by the United Nations. Some of the key Sustainable development goals such as Goals 11, 12 and 17 includes-

Sustainable cities and communities,
Responsible consumption and production

Are Rare Earth Metals Important to Recycle?

In today’s world, automobiles and electronics seem to be a very crucial part of one’s life. With the advent of technological progression, one has become more and more reliable to these consumer goods.

Often, we neglect a group of elements called rare-earth metals.  Their unique magnetic, heat-resistant and phosphorescent qualities make them essential in production of daily used products like electrical, smart phones, LCD TV displays, cars engines, cameras, and other technology which require rare-earth elements to function.

Most often these products are taken for granted and can be seen in bulk quantity in Dubai scrap yards. Although they are pivotal in the appliances we use every day.

Rare-earth elements also have a significant burden on the environment. Processing these metals are not only difficult but hazardous to the environment when its extract.

Presently, the main roadblock to recycling rare-earth metals is the cost required to purify the mixtures obtained from consumer devices.

Though scientists are still researching ways to recycle rare-earth metal, one way to approach is to reuse the old electronics and reduce the demand for the rare -earth metal.

So, it is advisable is to invest appropriately in the products that contain rare-earth metals to protect the environment the environment. In times like these, metal recycling companies such as Lucky group that manages their facility to protect the environment and spread awareness about harmful impact on  human life.

Why should we recycle electronics?

The whole world is now taking steps towards plastic recycling, so much that this has now become a buzzword. However, we are still quite resistant when it comes to recycling electronics items. We can find thousands of cars and household items being stashed, but can’t find that many electronic products in Dubai scrap yards. It is noteworthy that there are several metal recycling companies in Dubai, such as Lucky group, which can buy valuable metals derived from the process of electronics recycling.

We waste a lot of energy and resources to make a new electronic product. So, recycling of electronic items can save energy as well as valuable resources. It will also significantly reduce the carbon footprint that is associated with the manufacturing process of electronic items. Moreover, recycling these products will also effectively prevent electronic wastes to go into landfills.

There are some approved recycling companies in Dubai that can effectively extract the metals from electronic items. You can also obtain commercial value by selling these valuable metals to scrap metals trading companies. Besides the financial aspect of recycling, you can also make your significant contribution to a better tomorrow by taking part in electronic recycling.

How To Clean Metals Before Selling Part- 2

In the last blog post, we saw how to clean the most common metals given for scrap - copper, brass and aluminium. In this blog post, we’ll go a step ahead and talk about cleaning some more materials frequently found in the Dubai scrap yards.
  1. Lead - Lead is not as simple to clean as other metals. You will need a scrubber and a special lead cleaner to have your lead in good quality  before heading out to a scrap metal dealer.

  2. Zinc - Zinc has a very distinctive coating that may become dull over time. To clean this, your toothbrush and toothpaste will come in handy. Take some paste on a soft brush or a clean cloth and lightly rub the zinc object with it. A toothbrush will help you reach all the corners while a cloth will give you a large coverage area. Once you’re done, wipe down the area with a damp cloth to remove any residue of cleaning agents.

  3. Magnesium - Magnesium is famous for adding a touch of swag to your wheels, and chances are, it has collected a lot of dirt over time. If possible, wash the magnesium object with a lot of water, and then clean with a cloth dipped in water mixed with dish washing soap. When the dirt and grease are all gone, wash again with water to bring the shine back!
That brings us to the end of tips to clean your metals before entering the Dubai scrap trading market. We hope these tips will help you make a killing in scrap metal dealing!

How to sell scrap metal for money?

Where to look for scrap metal?

1. Look in your garage or basement.
2. Check in your neighborhood for discarded metal by the side of the road.
3. If you are holding on to old auto parts, those can be sold as scrap metal.
4. An old lawnmower has lots of metal parts and can be sold as scrap. Just make sure you empty the fuel tanks before you put it up for sale.
5. Yard sales are a good place to score some scrap metal for cheap.

How much is it worth?

Copper- Copper is the most valued scrap metal. Almost any metal recycling yard will accept it, depending on its condition. When copper is recycled, 100% of the metal is recovered. You can scrap motors that have copper or even copper wires. Old Christmas tree lights contain copper. And so do old toasters with their copper wiring. Old-fashioned or industrial plumping fixtures were also made of copper.

Brass- Recycling alloys like brass can also prove valuable. Brass can be found in gears, locks, valves, musical instruments and ammunition.

Aluminium- Aluminium is easily available as beverage cans, car bodies and tins. It is relatively cheap to sell as scrap.

Steel - Steel is the most common metal to scrap but the least lucrative. It can be commonly found in kitchen utensils, hubcaps and beer kegs.

How to sell it?

Step 1: Sort and clean the scrap metal
By doing these two things you significantly reduce the word the scrap yard has to do to recycle the metal. For that, your scrap metal could be bought for more.

Step 2: Find a transport vehicle. If you are carrying small quantities of scrap metal you can even use a bicycle to transport the scrap to the recycling yard. But if you are transporting huge quantities of scrap, then a pickup truck with an open back is your best option. Scrap metal in an open pickup truck can be easily unloaded by a crane. If you take your scrap metal in a closed vehicle, then you might damage your car's interior while unloading the scrap.

Step 3: Negotiate for a good price. Compare prices of the metal you are selling beforehand. You can either research it online or call up different scrap yards in your neighborhood and ask them their prices. Scrap yards usually pay more for larger quantities of scrap. Also in some areas, scrap metal fetches more during colder seasons.

Where to sell it?

The easy answer for this is scrap yards. But this question will deal with how to go about finding a scrap yard and sell your scrap? There are a few steps to this.

1. First, find a local scrap yard. You can look in your local classifieds book or do an internet search. Search for "scrap yard your-location-name" or "metal recycling your-location-name".

2. Different scrap yards buy different kinds of metal. Shortlist the scrap yards based on what you are selling.

3. Compare prices before you visit the shortlisted scrap yards by calling them and asking how much they offer for the metal you are selling.

4. Negotiate!

Need some relief from those Rising Electricity Bills in Dubai?

Living in Dubai has never been easy. A jewel of the Middle East, it offers its citizens the best of the best. A great place to bring up children and lead a fruitful life, that’s balanced between work and society; Dubai offers a lot to its residents.

But there is one thing that the residents of Dubai have been unhappy with and those are the utility bills. The electricity bills only keep on rising and it is not that DEWA is after everyone’s stack of greens; but just that it is getting rather expensive to provide electricity to the city. There is no way out for residents and commercial establishments alike — you either pay or live in darkness. The weather of the Middle East is not very forgiving either.

copper scrap from Dubai’s scrap yards

There is however one simple way to reduce your energy consumption and that is switching to newer appliances. Newer appliances save a lot when it comes to your power bills by making efficient use of electricity. This happens thanks to the quality copper components that are used in newer appliances leading to lesser wastage while delivering more power. It is wise to buy something new because newer appliances are always built to be more energy efficient. Older appliances will always consume a lot more. Be it a refrigerator or a boiler, newer is always better. Even when it comes to computers, newer processors are designed to consume a lot less electricity while delivering more power.

But don’t dispose that old boiler away in the trash just yet! Once in the trash, these appliances end up at landfills and incinerators where they are either burned or dumped, leading to polluting ground water or the air deteriorating the quality of any one of the two.

Quality copper components come from quality copper scrap from Dubai’s scrap yards and virgin copper from the mines. Scrap which is recovered from older appliances are modified and processed into better quality raw materials for manufacturing newer and greener products. This apart from saving money for manufacturers and delivering greener products at the consumer end also helps save the environment. Recycling copper and other metals from appliances although being a tough job, helps reduce the need for mining and helps manufacturers and brands deliver greener products that have been made from recycled metals.

Modern appliance centres today will even take your older appliances and offer discounts on newer ones encouraging recycling and saving them from reaching the landfills. So what are you waiting for? Take your appliances to your nearest appliance centre and replace them with new ones and see your electricity bills drop!

[caption id="attachment_154" align="aligncenter" width="366" caption="Image credit: www.totallytubebags.com"][/caption]

The 2000’s have brought many surprises to us all. Some of us may just choose to be surprised by the miracle wonders done by others, while some others are the ones who come up with the surprises. On a similar note, young entrepreneurs these years have come up with the wildest ways to make money. But their ways to earn can really surprise and change the world sometimes. Take a look at a company called Totally Tubular Design for instance.

This company headed by Lauren and Scott Junker is actually dedicated at preserving the planet. Their business is all about creating something out of nothing. They have been coming up with bags and accessories in different designs, made of recycled bicycle tires and tubes... How many of us ever thought of making such great use of rubber tube scrap in Dubai?

Well if you really want to help save the environment you really need a strong desire to help it. You need not become a manufacturer but you can still help by creating demand for those goods that can save the earth. You can then go ahead and recycle them at your local Dubai scrap yard. Recycling cans for aluminum scrap in Dubai is one of the easiest ways to contribute towards a better environment. Once you do your bit, metal recycling companies like Lucky Group in Dubai will handle the rest. The recycled material is processed at our facilities and handed over to be reused by responsible manufacturers allover the world. For more information, visit www.luckygroup.com.

What can be recycled?

‘Going Green’ is the need of the hour. As opposed to what we might think, it is not difficult to become eco friendly in our little ways. Lets find out what are the things that can be recycled.

When you say ‘recycle’ most people think glass, plastic and paper. But the fact of the matter remains that almost everything you use can be recycled. Cardboard, paint, electronics, pesticides, rubber tube scrap and metals like aluminum scarp, copper scrap, ferrous scrap, stainless steel scrap, etc. can be taken to Dubai scrap yards and can be recycled. Recycling these items are important for many reasons. One of them is that items such as these contain toxic elements that are hazardous to human and animal health. If waste like this were to be left alone, they would also seep through the soil, polluting our underground water reserves.

It’s easy to find plastic, rubber or metal recycling companies in Dubai online. So the next time, before discarding off unused items, be sure to check for recycling companies or Dubai scrap yards and then go ahead and do the needful.

You can also get creative with being eco-friendly in one more way. Donating your old computer or your mobile to charitable organizations or to those who have none is also a step towards recycling.

Our organization, Lucky Group deals in metal recycling in Dubai but our operations are also located world over. Visit www.luckygroup.com for more information on scrap metals recycling in Dubai.
